1. Make A Statement With A Large Bedside Lamp

When the Blidväder table lamp became available, I was so happy to finally see an oversized, classic-style lamp in the IKEA range. At 50cm in height, this table lamp is perfect for creating a visual impact on either side of your bed.

I love that they opted for a beige linen-style fabric for the lampshade, rather than the typical white, as it adds a tactile and intriguing quality to the lamp.

2. The Best Traditional IKEA Nightstand Light

For those who love a more traditional style, the Tärnaby table lamp is a perfect choice. Its compact size makes it ideal for small bedside tables with limited space. The added feature of a small knob for light dimming enhances its appeal, allowing you to craft a cosy atmosphere in your bedroom.

Originally available only in black, I think the introduction of a beige colourway was a smart move. Softer than its black predecessor, the Tärnaby table light now has a more modern appearance, making it much more versatile.

3. Add A Cosy Floor Lamp

New on the scene, the Ökensand floor lamp will bring a touch of Scandi charm into your bedroom. While not the conventional choice for a bedroom, floor lamps can infuse warmth into a room and illuminate dark, awkward corners.

Notably, the fabric shade is machine washable, which means any pesky dust build-up can easily be washed away. Allauhula!

4. Inject A Cosy, Soft Glow Into Your Bedroom

Introduce a calm and relaxing atmosphere in your bedroom with the Dejsa table lamp. The softly-shaped white glass top diffuses light to create a soft glow, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

5. Create A Dreamy Bedroom With This IKEA Lampshade

When it comes to bedrooms, a tranquil and relaxing space is best. That is why I love using the Krusning lampshade in my bedroom designs. It is made of crumpled paper that gives it a dreamy, cloud-like appearance.

As with many IKEA products, it comes flat-packed, allowing you to crumple the paper to your liking and adapt its appearance.

6. The Best Bedroom Ceiling Lighting From IKEA

To add a touch of nature to your bedroom, consider the iconic Sinnerlig pendant lamp. A classic IKEA design, this handcrafted lamp made from woven bamboo casts a welcoming glow, creating a calming atmosphere.

At 54cm in height, this pendant light was definitely designed to make a statement, which isn’t ideal for tiny rooms or low ceilings. Luckily, IKEA has finally added a mini version to the product range, so even tiny rooms can now enjoy its statement-making style.

7. Include Some Natural Materials In Your Bedroom Decor

With its unique style, the Knixhult table lamp resembles more of a piece of art than a mood light. Crafted from bamboo, its natural material will add warmth to your bedroom, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate an organic, natural aesthetic.

8. Make Your Furniture Work Harder

In a small bedroom, opting for multifunctional furniture is a savvy move. The new IKEA Trindsnö floor lamp is a stroke of genius, seamlessly combining a mood light, side table, and storage into one cleverly designed product.

This versatile piece would make a great alternative to a traditional nightstand. Its neutral colour and birch veneer finish mean that it would complement a variety of room styles.

9. The Best IKEA Wall Lights For A Bedroom

When it comes to unwinding with a good book in bed, adequate lighting is essential. The Nymåne double wall light is perfect for placing above a bed and with its simple yet stylish design, it exudes a modern aesthetic.

Install it centrally above your headboard to provide both you and your partner with an evenly distributed light source, minimising any pesky eye strain during your reading sessions.

10. The Best Affordable IKEA Bedroom Light

If you are looking for a cheap IKEA light the Tokabo table lamp is a winner. Its miniature size allows it to fit on even the tiniest surfaces, making it perfect for a small bedside table.

The frosted glass produces a soft light, contributing to a calm and cosy atmosphere.

11. Add A Touch Of Retro Charm To Your Bedroom

The retro-inspired design of the Blåsverk table lamp brings a touch of the 60s to a modern setting, creating a visually appealing contrast.

Surprisingly affordable for its stylish appearance, this IKEA lamp is a budget-friendly winner, proving that good design doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag.

12. A Bedroom Table Light & Speaker All In One

IKEA isn’t usually the first place I think of when I think of home tech. But their collaboration with SONOS has produced a surprisingly good quality range of speakers at a more affordable price point.

My personal favourite is the Symfonisk speaker lamp, which has a built-in speaker within the lamp base. This innovative approach of combining bulky speakers into functional pieces of homeware is a great way of seamlessly blending aesthetics and functionality to create a more cohesive look and I am a big fan!
